Cascade Indie Program

The Cascade Indie Program provides independent theatre artists with the opportunity to mount a profit share production with the support of a mainstage theatre company.

Applications for the 2012 Cascade Indie Program are now open.

Professional theatre artists are invited to email proposals to be part of the company’s 2012 Cascade Indie Program. Applications must be received by 9.00 am on Monday January 23rd, 2012.


What Do You Get?

Shows selected for the Cascade Indie Program are supported by TTC through:

•  the use of the Theatre Royal Backspace

•  front of house and marketing support.

•  public liability insurance cover

•  inclusion in the TTC Artistic Season brochure.


What Does it Cost You?

Shows selected for inclusion in the Program will share a negotiated percentage of box office takings with TTC.


How Do You Participate?

Get your proposal to us by the closing date.

Make sure you include current contact details.

You must be able to provide an image and biographical details for the TTC 2012 brochure by February 6th 2012.

In no more than 2 pages plus relevant support material give us all the information that you think will make the selection panel want to include your show in the 2012 program - tell us about the proposed show, who the people involved are and what support you are hoping to get from TTC.

Offers of inclusion in the Cascade Indie Program will be based on the artistic merit of the project, the personnel involved, the market appeal of the show and the show’s compatibility with TTC’s annual program.
