FAQs
BOOKING YOUR TICKET

WHAT HAPPENS WITH MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?
The Tasmanian Theatre Company is committed to protecting the personal details of subscribers and patrons. Our full Privacy Policy can be viewed at: http://www.tastheatre.com/resources/privacy

CAN I SWAP MY TICKET?
We’ll assist any TTC subscriber who finds themselves really stuck with a last minute clash, by rebooking their ticket for a less stressful date. A Subscriber performance exchange is complimentary but must be made no later than 24 hours before the performance that was originally booked.

PLANNING YOUR VISIT

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
It’s funny how often this question is asked. But the answer is always the same.  Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.  Neat and casual is just fine, but so is dressing up if the mood takes you!

WHAT IF I’M LATE?
Latecomers will be admitted to the performance at the first appropriate opportunity to avoid disruption to already seated patrons.

WHY ADULT THEMES AND LANGUAGE?
The Tasmanian Theatre Company presents theatre that reflects contemporary culture.  As such, we ask you to note that our productions sometimes contain adult themes and strong language. Wherever possible, we will alert patrons to adult themes or language in advance in our marketing materials and through signage at the venue.

CAN I BRING A BABY TO THE THEATRE?
Babes in arms can be accommodated in aisle seats at the theatre. Patrons are advised that, due to the intimacy of the Theatre Royal Backspace, ushers may request patrons with babes in arms to leave the auditorium to avoid disruption of the performance.

WHERE IS THE THEATRE ROYAL BACKSPACE?
