…for making 2008 a wonderful year for the Tasmanian Theatre Company to begin its work of staging world-class theatre around our island.

Since launching in May, the TTC has presented the wildly different Bombshells and Don’t Say the Words.  We hope that these incredibly well received shows signal what we hope will become the hallmarks of the TTC – diversity, entertainment and artistic excellence.

In the meantime, we will continue to deliver outcomes through the Aurora Energy Community Enrichment Program, working state-wide to enrich Tasmania by encouraging participation in theatre. Next up is Flip Top Heart, October 11 at the Backspace Theatre, Theatre Royal.

We believe that Tasmania deserves a flagship theatre company and we are thrilled that in 2008 audiences, critics and businesses have agreed. We hope you do too.
